Not short for Savannah or Savage, although that’s open to interpretation. Once upon a time, I was one of three Sophia’s at a summer program. AUDIBLE GASP. JAW DROP. ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK. So naturally, I started going by Sav because why be the third Sophia in the room when you can be the only Sav?
